Our office has produced an evidence synthesis on rheumatic fever as part of our major project on infectious diseases and antimicrobial resistance and to help inform the Ministry of Health’s rheumatic fever workstream.

This report aims to summarise what we know about the processes that lead to group A Streptococcus (GAS) infection, acute rheumatic fever (RF) and rheumatic heart disease (RHD) in Aotearoa New Zealand.
