As the Office swings into action for 2019 we welcome the final member of our team – Dr Rachel Chiaroni-Clarke. Rachel was the successful applicant in our search for a Research Analyst and Writer. We had a huge amount of interest in this position and so Rachel successfully jumped several hoops including an anonymised writing assignment.

Rachel is a graduate of Otago University and after her studies headed to Rockefeller University as a Research Assistant before completing a PhD in Medical Genetics at the University of Melbourne and Murdoch Children’s Research Institute. After that, she worked as a writer for a healthcare communications agency in Melbourne, honing her communications expertise.

Rachel loves to travel and successfully navigated our interview process from Cambodia and Vietnam. Her first task will be to support our project on plastics – more on which will be coming soon.

Haere mai, welcome to the team, Rachel 🙂
